Rob studied at Kings College, London where he obtained a First Class (Hons) degree in Biochemistry. After obtaining his PhD in Molecular Medicine at The Institute of Child Health, part of University College, London, he moved to The University of York as a post-doctoral researcher. He formally worked at Cambridge Antibody Technology where he was a Senior Scientist within Antibody Engineering then Team Leader of the High Throughput Expression team. Rob joined Antitope (now Abzena) in 2008 as a Research Manager and now leads Abzena’s Protein Engineering and Antibody Discovery groups overseeing Abzena’s discovery, antibody humanisation, protein deimmunisation and bespoke engineering projects.
