Troy Lionberger is the Senior Manager of Technology Development at Berkeley Lights. He was part of the development team of the Beacon platform and the cell line development workflow, and is now responsible for applying Beacon technology to accelerate research and development in other areas of cell biology, ranging from synthetic biology to agriculture. Troy received his postdoctoral training in biophysics at U.C. Berkeley, prior to which he earned a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
