Ms. Yuri Teranishi joined Chugai Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. as a Research scientist in 2012. She had worked on antibody selection using phage display technology to identify therapeutics antibody candidates. After a few years, she joined the Lead Optimization unit in Chugai Pharmabody Research in Singapore, and currently she is undertaking projects to optimize the lead antibodies that aims to improve efficacy, stability and usability. She has experiences as project leader, and has initiated a new project, which is a development of novel antibody engineering technology. She received her master’s degree in Biotechnology and Bioengineering in 2012 from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
