Momma Lloyd’s Egg Custard Pie

My mom was the heart and soul of the holidays, and she always made pies and baked goodies for everyone. This is one that she baked for me personally. Funny thing is, I don't even like eggs (I don't eat them unless they are baked in pie/cake). But this pie just hugs me and reminds me of her anytime I have a slice.

INGREDIENTS

1 ea pie shell

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

2 T butter

¼ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

2 T flour

METHOD

1. Mix together all ingredients

2. Preheat oven to 425°F

3. Bake for 10 minutes

4. Turn down to to 350°F or 325°F until brown/done
