Since 2022, Mathias Wendt, PhD, has been working at Priavoid GmbH, a pharmaceutical start-up developing all-D peptide therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. As Senior Peptide Chemist, he focuses on peptide chemistry and drug discovery while supporting a multidisciplinary team. He is currently expanding his expertise into CMC of peptide therapeutics. Previously, he conducted postdoctoral research at Eindhoven University of Technology, and during his PhD at VU University Amsterdam, he specialized in the design, synthesis, and evaluation of bicyclic peptides that inhibit oncogenic protein–protein interactions.
