For the young company rate, you must meet the following criteria:

Applicants’ start-ups must have been established in the past 5 years
Applicants’ start-ups must have < 50 employees
Applicants’ start-ups must be an active member of a pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization with a therapeutic R&D pipeline
Applicants cannot be from a CDMO, CMO, CRO, supplier, technology provider or vendor organization
Applicants cannot be from an existing event sponsor nor exhibitor organization
Applicants cannot have a sales, marketing, account manager or business development job title nor focus

Full-time employees of a government organization, universities, university-affiliated hospitals, and young companies (please see what qualifies as a young company on the left) are eligible to take advantage of additional savings.
