Daan Alexander VelterManaging Director at EemsEnergyTerminalSpeaker
Profile
My name is Daan Alexander Velter, working for Gasunie and for almost 3 years the Managing Director of the EemsEnergyTerminal, a subsidiary of Gasunie and Vopak, located in the Eemshaven (Groningen) , The Netherlands. Partly due to the sudden loss of Russian gas and the geopolitical situation, the realisation of this terminal was achieved in a very short period of time.
I have more than 15 years of experience in the Gas industry from offshore exploration & production to LNG re-gas operations and business development.
Currently, I'm responsible for the feasibility study to extent the EemsEnergyTerminal to 2035, expecting to take FID by the end of 2025.
