Nomination Guidelines

All the information you need to submit a successful nomination

Above all else our judges want to see the real impact your entry has had on your business, the further you can go beyond 'the marketing hype', the better your entry will be.

The entry process

The Banking Tech Awards are open to banks, financial institutions, fintechs and services providers from across the world.

All entries must be written in English and submitted via our online portal. You can save, review, and change your nomination before submitting the final version.

The main entry should be no longer than 1,500 words and must include all the information you deem necessary for your awards entry.

Whilst supporting materials can be included too, this should be done only if they genuinely add value to the main entry. We do not need or want to see any marketing, sales, and other promotional materials – so please do not include them.

You can apply for more than one award for the same project/product/team/person but make sure that the information in each entry is tailored to its specific category.

Confidentiality

The information provided in the main entry is confidential and is treated as such by the Banking Technology Awards team and the judges.

The names of the shortlisted, highly commended, and winning entries will be in public domain and published on the awards website and other relevant locations.

Entry deadline & fee

The entry deadline for Banking Tech Awards is 18 August 2023.

A £279 (+20% UK VAT, where applicable) nomination fee is applicable for each entry. So, if you submit two nominations, it will be £279.00 x 2, for three categories, £279.00 x 3 and so on.

This payment is for nomination and is due regardless of whether the nominated company/person makes to the shortlist or not.

Announcing the winners

The winners and highly commended will be unveiled at the gala ceremony at the beautiful fabulous Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 30 November 2023.

The awards evening will begin with a sparkling wine reception and canapes, followed by a delicious three-course meal with wine, entertainment and the awards ceremony itself.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR NOMINATION

The information provided in the nomination must be tailored to the awards category. It must be clear, coherent, to the point, and include the supporting evidence.

Avoid the promotional lingo. Do not include generic promotional materials, sales brochures, PR announcements and so on. We want facts, not buzzwords.
