Shobhit Mathur is a seasoned FinTech professional with over 15 years of diverse experience. He is currently a Vice President at Two Sigma leading a team within the Trading Engineering organization. In this role, he designs, builds, and manages tools for a highly complex and critical trading platform.

Throughout his career, Shobhit has developed low-latency trading infrastructure, built solutions for big data streaming and high-throughput systems, designed observability solutions, and created APIs for external clients. His in-depth understanding of equity and option trading platforms, coupled with his expertise in market microstructure, has enabled him to teach internal courses and share his knowledge within the company.

Before joining Two Sigma, Shobhit gained valuable experience at Group One Trading and S&P Capital IQ. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Illinois (UIUC) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Shobhit's exposure to various technology stacks and business environments allows him to bring a unique and valuable perspective to the industry. He is committed to advancing the FinTech sector by leveraging cutting-edge technology and following best engineering practices.

Outside of work, Shobhit is passionate about traveling and photography. He also applies his engineering and analytical skills to help non-profits extract more value from their data, demonstrating his dedication to giving back to the community.
