Ryohei YoshinariAssistant Director, Economic Research Office at Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC)
Ryohei Yoshinari is Assistant Director of the Economic Research Office at the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC). In the position, he coordinates research projects with academics including the Study Group on Competition Policy for Data Markets Ryohei has 13 years’ experience in the JFTC.
Previously, he joined the investigation of the auto parts cartel case the car shipping cartel case, and merger cases in Kyushu region. After that, he worked for advocacy activities in transportation sector and healthcare sector. Then, he contributed to the discussion at the ICN and the OECD by representing the JFTC. Most recently, he accomplished the International Fellows Program of the USFTC in 2020.
Ryohei obtained Master of Business Law from the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy at Hitotsubashi University and received Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waseda.
