Dr. Venkatesh Devanur, is a distinguished figure in India's BioAg inputs industry.. His career commenced in 1979 at Sandoz (India) Limited, where he progressively moved through roles in marketing and product management. In 1987, he joined the Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Ltd, eventually becoming the National Head of Sales and Marketing for Agrochemicals in Delhi in 1989.

In 1993, he founded SOM Phytopharma (India) Limited, specializing in the production of technical grade pesticides. Since then, he has served as its Managing Director. In 2003, he established Agri Life, transitioning from chemical pesticides to BioPesticides, BioFertilizers, and Bio-Agri Inputs, where he currently serves as CEO. Agri Life, under his guidance, is a leading BioPesticide company, exporting to numerous countries and obtaining certifications for organic inputs. Dr. Devanur is also the Secretary of the BioAgri Inputs Producers Association of India (BIPA), and Vice President of World Neem Organisation ( WNO) – and he is invited to various international conferences as a resource person.

His career underscores his dedication to sustainable agriculture practices and the bio-based agricultural input sector.
