Starting with eight years in the pesticide industry, then thirteen years running an on-farm agronomy team in the UK before selling that and buying the micronutrient company that became Micromix in 1999, Wilson’s has been a more broad-based career than most. Micromix was sold to Olmix in 2018 and they made him their Global Ambassador for Plant Health Technology. Responsible for a considerable body of IP during the Micromix years, advanced foliar nutrition technology and focus on biostimulation since 2005. Since the formation of Evoponic in 2006, originally a speciality hydroponic business, but now introducing new technology for all crops, have seen a renewed investment in beneficial biologicals, the development of which Wilson sees as integral with nutrition, biostimulation and pesticides in crop agronomy.
