Dr. Libby Kruse is Trade Manager, Health and Life Sciences, with Global Victoria, the State Government of Victoria’s trade facilitation agency. Libby has held a range of roles in the Victorian Government across the Health and Life Sciences sector. These include supporting advanced manufacturing, and delivery of programs to increase access to clinical trials for Australians in rural areas, and to grow the clinical trials workforce.

Outside of Government, Libby trained at Australia’s largest cancer clinical trials unit, and has specialist expertise in human research ethics and biobanking in Australia and the UK, including as a Research Ethics Committee Member. Libby’s was a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCL in London, and completed her PhD at The University of Melbourne and WEHI, Australia.
