Nikola began his career as a Medical Doctor working in area of Infectious diseases, from where he moved into clinical trials research, taking part in a pivotal study that brought the first GLP1-RA asset to the global market.

With over 20 years of experience in R&D, and background in clinical, medical, and commercial strategies Nikola has supported numerous Biotech’s and Pharma companies across the globe. Working both on the Pharma and CRO side, Nikola’s leadership expertise spans from first in human studies to large scale pivotal studies and global product launches.

Before joining Ergomed Clinical Research, a global Full-Service CRO as SVP Commercial Operations, Nikola has held global leadership positions at Novo Nordisk, Worldwide Clinical Trials and Optimapharm, heading both commercial and cross-functional teams.

Nikola holds a medical degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine.
