Profile

Prof. Dr. Angela Relógio is a German-Portuguese physicist-engineer, molecular biologist, Professor of Systems Medicine at MSH Medical School Hamburg, and Co-Founder & CEO of TimeTeller, a pioneering health-tech company bringing a new dimension to personalized medicine: time.
Her work is driven by a fundamental question: What if when we receive a treatment is just as important as which treatment we receive?
By combining circadian biology, molecular diagnostics and AI, TimeTeller measures individual biological rhythms and translates them into actionable insights for personalized healthcare. With its first reimbursed product for cancer patients already on the German market, the company is advancing the integration of biological timing into clinical practice.
TimeTeller's primary focus is oncology, aiming to optimize treatment timing to improve therapeutic efficacy and reduce side effects. Its technology also holds potential for applications in women's health, metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases, longevity and human performance.
Angela is a recipient of the German Startup Award, the Hamburg Founder Award, and Women TechEU funding, and was a finalist for the Deutscher Gründerpreis. She is also the author of Die Chrono-Strategie and a passionate advocate for women in STEM and entrepreneurship.
In 2026, TimeTeller was recognized among the Top 5 MedTech innovations at VivaTech and selected as a Top 20 Startup Battlefield finalist at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, marking an important milestone in its international expansion.
