Dr. Gregor Strauch (born in Bonn in 1976) is a lawyer with more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of politics, business and healthcare. After studying law in Passau, Freiburg, Geneva and Bonn, earning a doctorate and completing his legal training, he began his career at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) in 2005. From 2009 to 2011, he served in Bayer AG's Liaison Office Berlin before returning to the BDI, where he became Head of Innovation and Healthcare Industries in 2012. Since November 2015, he has been Head of Public & Government Affairs Germany at Boehringer Ingelheim. He is also serving on numerous business and healthcare policy bodies and industry associations.
