Hannah Franklin is an Associate at Biovance Capital, Portugal's only dedicated biotech venture capital fund, investing in early-stage therapeutics companies across Europe with a focus on Southern Europe. A neuroscientist specialising in neurodegeneration, she began in Parkinson's disease clinical research at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, before completing her PhD and postdoctoral research at UCL and the Francis Crick Institute, using human iPSC models to study astrocyte dysfunction in ALS.
