Joachim Eeckhout is the Editorial Director of European Biotechnology and co-owner and CEO of Knowbio, the publisher behind European Biotechnology and transkript. He previously founded Labiotech.eu in 2014 and built it into one of the world’s most widely read biotech publications. Over more than a decade in biotech media, he has covered the science, companies and investment shaping the industry and interviewed researchers, entrepreneurs and executives across Europe. At European Biotechnology, his ambition is to build on that experience to strengthen independent journalism and give Europe’s biotech community a clear and informed voice.
