Marion is Head of Sourcing & Startups at Ampleia, where she identifies and evaluates early-stage opportunities and works hands-on with scientific founders to translate research-stage science into investable biotech companies. Over the past three years, she has been involved across company creation, strategy and operational execution, bridging scientific development, business strategy, financing, and investor engagement.

Prior to joining Ampleia, Marion was business development director at Imagine Institute, where she led negotiations and contributed to the execution of 40+ partnerships with pharma companies and biotechs within the rare diseases field. She was in charge of Imagine’s Accelerator program, executing due diligence processes to bring projects from research stage to pre-seed funding. In 3 years, Marion has supported 6 projects, which led to 2 start up creations. Earlier, at Alcimed, she advised healthcare companies on product development, market access and global development strategy.

A scientist by training, Marion holds a PhD in Genetics and Neurosciences and an MSc in Innovation and Technology Management, giving her a dual scientific and business perspective that she now applies to building and financing early-stage biotech ventures.
