Martin Krauss began his career as a statistician in epidemiology, including a formative year at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyon. Early on, he discovered a strong interest in building teams and structures that enable high-quality clinical research. In 2002, he co-founded FGK Clinical Research GmbH, driven by the ambition to create a scientifically rigorous and client-focused CRO. As Managing Director, he grew FGK into a European full-service organization with around 250 employees. Alongside his entrepreneurial work and collaborative leadership, he has long been engaged in shaping the clinical research landscape and has served as President of the German CRO Association (BVMA) since 2017.
