Dr. Deehan is a biotechnology and pharmaceutical executive with 25 years of experience spanning drug development, corporate strategy, and commercialization. Since August 2026, she has served as CEO of Neohla Bio, a therapeutic platform company harnessing the body’s natural tolerance mechanisms to induce localized immune tolerance for organ-specific autoimmune diseases, women’s health, and oncology. She also serves on the boards of TregShield Bio, Hammerhead Bio, and Adocia.
Dr. Deehan brings deep expertise across the drug development lifecycle, including 11 years in global corporate development and C-suite leadership roles at Novimmune SA, Nordic Nanovector ASA, and Vivtex Corporation. During her tenure as CEO of Vivtex, she received the 2024 Elizabeth Elting Award, recognizing her as the most promising female CEO of a US life sciences start-up. She has a strong track record in business development, strategic partnerships, and deal-making, including a recent $2.1 billion partnership with Novo Nordisk focused on oral obesity therapeutics.
Dr. Deehan holds a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Glasgow.
