Miki Nakamori serves as Executive Director, Head of Scouting & Transaction, Business Development at Astellas, where she leads a team exploring opportunities for Primary Focus Genetic Regulation and Primary Focus Blindness and Regeneration.

Her responsibilities cover the full business development and licensing lifecycle. This includes search and evaluation through execution of a range of transactions, from early research collaborations to licensing agreements and acquisitions, and also oversees the corporate investment fund in her target therapeutic areas.

Miki Joined Astellas in 2023, having previously served in business development leadership roles at Roche and Novartis spanning global and regional partnering, licensing and alliance management.

Miki holds a degree in biotechnology from Kyoto University.
