Richard is Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Luna Therapeutics, a start-up commercialising the TIPS microsphere platform he invented at UCL. He has led the clinical translation of two TIPS microsphere-based products into multi-centre studies, established scalable, clinical grade manufacturing of the microsphere platform, and partnered with CDMOs to advance clinical development. Richard works extensively with the international biotech and life sciences industry, and brings first-hand insight into what cell-based biotechs need to improve efficiency and product performance.
