Romain Lalandes is Head of Business Development at Orbis Medicines, a Copenhagen-based biotech pioneering orally available macrocycle drugs as alternatives to injectable biologics. He recently led Orbis’s collaboration with Novo Nordisk worth up to $1.4 billion, which included an equity investment.

He joined Orbis in 2024 and has spent his career in life-sciences business development, including Head of BD roles at Synklino and Vernalis Research. He holds a PharmD from the University of Montpellier, France.
