Sang Won Kang, Ph.D., is the Founder and CEO of Vasthera. His research has focused on both the physiological roles of thiol peroxidase Peroxiredoxin (Prdx) in cell signaling and related pathological mechanisms underlying peroxiredoxin-deficient disease (Peroxiredoxinopathy). Building on these scientific discoveries, he leads Vasthera’s development of novel redox medicines designed to modulate dysregulated redox signaling across diverse human diseases.
