Silke Ditgen serves as the Trade Commissioner for the Life Sciences sector in Germany, based at the Consulate of Canada in Düsseldorf. With over 11 years of experience in the Trade Commissioner Service at Global Affairs Canada, she supports Canadian companies in navigating the German market. Her expertise includes market entry strategies, opportunity assessments, business matchmaking, and problem resolution.

Prior to joining the Government of Canada, Silke worked as a Sales Consultant for a global IT and strategy consulting firm, gaining valuable experience in international business development.

Silke holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Cultural Studies from the University of Passau in Germany.
