Dr. Wa’el Al Rawashdeh is Co-Founder and CEO of Elutiq GmbH and a life-sciences executive with experience spanning cell and gene therapy, regenerative medicine, orthobiologics, drug delivery, and medical devices. At Miltenyi Biotec, he led the preclinical development package supporting the EMA orphan drug designation of MB-CART2019.1 (zamtocabtagene autoleucel / Zamto-cel) and development packages supporting five clinical trials across CAR-T and other advanced cell-therapy programs. He later held senior leadership roles at Ossium Health, leading cell-therapy and orthobiologics development across R&D, CMC, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercialization. He is the inventor of two FDA-cleared bone allografts and contributed to a BARDA/DoD program resulting in a $125M federal contract. At Elutiq, he is applying this combined pharma and regenerative-medicine experience to programmable local drug delivery in bone.
