Zoltán Magyarics, MD PhD, is Vice President of Research & Development at AOP Health, where he leads clinical development and medical, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, preclinical development, and CMC functions, with responsibility for new product portfolio development.

He is a drug development physician and immunologist with more than 15 years of experience across preclinical, translational, clinical, and portfolio development. Prior to AOP Health, he served as Vice President of Development at Leyden Laboratories, where he led clinical strategy, nonclinical-to-clinical transition, and Phase 1 to Phase 2 proof-of-concept programs. He was previously Chief Medical Officer at Bloom Diagnostics and held Medical Director and translational medicine leadership roles at Arsanis, contributing to monoclonal antibody, vaccine, infectious disease, immunology, immuno-oncology, and rare disease programs.

Zoltán has worked across Austria, the Netherlands, and the United States, leading transatlantic development activities and cross-cultural teams in on-site, hybrid, and remote settings. He holds an MD and PhD in molecular cell and immune biology from the University of Debrecen.
