Kelvin Lau is a principal engineer at AbbVie Bioresearch Center, managing multiple GMP manufacturing areas. He has developed and launched many clinical and commercial processes for mAb’s, antibody-drug conjugates, fusion proteins, and more. His successful projects include post-market process development of HUMIRA, process scale-up to commercial manufacturing, and technology transfer to third party sites. He is also the site single-use materials lead. Kelvin earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
