Leran (Lynn) Mao earned her Ph.D. in December 2023 from Carnegie Mellon University, where she worked with Prof. Anne Robinson and Prof. James Schneider on bioprocess technology development and improvement. The primary topics of her work included controlling cellular proliferation and specific productivity to improve antibody production, establishing novel ways to analyze protein critical quality attributes, and investigating the effect of cellular stress on cell culture and product quality.
