Profile

Biochemist and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with more than 30 years of experience spanning plant genetic engineering, molecular plant–microbe interactions, microbial biotechnology and agricultural bioproduct development. Currently Head of the Department of Bioengineering and Bioprocesses and Senior Researcher at SynergiaBIO, leading multidisciplinary programs that connect scientific discovery with product development and commercialization. Career experience combines scientific leadership, R&D strategy, competitive funding, team management, international partnerships, postgraduate training and technology transfer. Current focus: microbiome-driven agricultural biotechnology, rational microbial consortia, microbial biostimulants, biological control and sustainable crop production under climate change.
