Dr. Angela Yu is a protein biochemist and Associate Director at Pfizer with extensive expertise in protein purification, chromatography, and biochemical and biophysical characterization. She earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto. Her work spans the purification and characterization of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, fusion proteins, and nucleic acids. She currently leads downstream process development for protein subunit vaccine programs in Pfizer. In addition to her protein expertise, she has led mRNA downstream process development, including process development for COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.
