Chiali Liu is Senior Director of Drug Substance Process Development, Biologics CMC at Teva Pharmaceuticals, overseeing upstream and downstream process development of biologic drug substance, technology transfer, and Material Sciences functions.

She obtained Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at MIT.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in process development, scale-up, technology transfer, clinical and commercial production of biologics, plus technology transfer and commercialization of advanced therapy. She worked at Janssen, GSK, Human Genome Sciences, and Centocor before joining Teva.
