Mr James Morrissey, at Imperial College LondonSpeaker
Profile
James earned his PhD in systems biology in 2024 from Imperial College London, under the supervision of Professor Cleo Kontoravdi. During his PhD, James worked in the Cell Culture & Fermentation Sciences department of AstraZeneca, where he developed and applied genome-scale modeling techniques for CHO cell media and feeding optimization. James will be starting as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Vaccine Production Program (VPP) of the NIAID Vaccine Research Center, where he will apply computational tools to understand and optimize CHO cell bioprocessing for the development of recombinant proteins for infectious disease.
