Michael joined the purification process development team at Sanofi in 2014 after receiving his PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Ohio State. Since joining Sanofi, he has led purification, drug substance, and CMC teams for a variety of molecules in Sanofi’s pipeline, ranging from monoclonal antibodies to enzyme replacement therapies for both early clinical and late-stage commercial programs. Michael has also been very active in Sanofi’s integrated continuous biomanufacturing (ICB) technology development efforts and is currently leading Sanofi’s end-to-end ICB team from the proof-of-concept phase to GMP implementation and commercialization.
