Ren Liu is a Senior Principal scientist at Merck & Co., Inc. in South San Francisco, CA, USA. He currently leads the Discovery Process Biologics group in Merck’s BioProcess department and serves as the CMC lead of an early-stage Oncology program. Before joining Merck, Dr. Liu was a senior scientist and group leader responsible for biologics development at VasGene Therapeutics. Dr. Liu received his PhD in Biochemistry from City of Hope Graduate School of Biological Sciences and his BS from the University of Science and Technology of China.
