Wei Wei recently joined the Cell Line Development Group in Pfizer to provide bioinformatics support to facilitate the development of recombinant CHO cell lines. One of his major goals is to delineate the molecular mechanisms underlying the phenotypic alteration during the cell line engineering. Before joining Pfizer, Wei completed his post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School, where he focused on high-throughput 'omics' profiling to identify and characterize genomic abnormalities and aberrant gene expression signatures as putative targets for the development of personalized therapeutics against ovarian cancer.
