Dr. Cornelia Walther is a Principal Scientist in Downstream Development n at Boehringer Ingelheim RCV, Vienna. She specializes on process modeling, automation, and high-throughput strategies for downstream development, including cell disruption, inclusion body recovery, solubilization, refolding, chromatography, and UFDF. Additionally. her work also incorporates mechanistic and machine learning models within bioprocess development.
Previously, Cornelia served as Scientist in the same department (2017–2021) and completed a PostDoc in collaboration with BOKU University, Vienna (2014–2017). She earned her doctorate at BOKU within a project of the Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology in 2013.
