Duncan Omune, Ph.D., is the Senior Director of MSAT at Lonza Biosciences, where he leads a global organization responsible for end‑to‑end technical stewardship across Bioscience operations. He oversees process and cleaning validation, technology transfer and scale‑up, global standards harmonization, and the resolution of complex technical challenges to ensure robust, compliant, and scalable manufacturing performance worldwide.

Dr. Omune brings over 18 years of progressive leadership experience in biomanufacturing, technical operations, R&D, and process development across leading life science organizations including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Becton Dickinson, Life Technologies, and Invitrogen. His work has supported the development and production of monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, vaccines, oncology therapeutics, and clinical diagnostic reagents.

He holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from SUNY Binghamton and advanced degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Egerton University in Kenya. As a leader, he is known for his strategic collaboration, innovation, accountability, and commitment to building empowered, high‑performing teams that drive operational excellence and deliver high‑quality products and services.
