Dr. Macchiarulo has 20-years of experience in bioprocessing for biologics and CGT products. He also has an extensive background with developing CHO cell culture media for protein-based processes. His interests include automation, machine learning, omics and metabolic flux analysis to increase throughput and insights, and to improve performance of future cell culture media reducing cost and timelines. Dr. Macchiarulo is an experienced leader overseeing a multidisciplinary team of scientists looking to innovate and make a difference in the therapeutic space.
