Lovro Kramer is a Senior Manager in Novartis Technical R&D, where he is leading the Cell line development team. Lovro holds a PhD in biochemistry from Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in the field of protein engineering, and had post-doc training in the field of CAR T-cell engineering at UMC Utrecht (The Netherlands) before joining Novartis in 2019. His scientific interest lies in mammalian cell line engineering (including glycoengineering) as well as automation and high throughput method development for mammalian cell cultures.
