Dr. Mark Duerkop is co-founder and CEO of Novasign GmbH a spin-off from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna focusing on accelerating bioprocess development by application of advanced machine learning tools. Within the last years Mark developed a hybrid modeling software with his team that help bioprocess engineers to better understand their processes while additionally reducing the experimental effort to find process optima.
