Shannon J. Ryan, Ph.D. is the Senior Director, Application Services at Avantor where he leads a team of subject matter experts supporting clients to efficiently design and develop scalable biomanufacturing processes from development through commercial scale. Shannon has more than 20 years of experience in biotechnology with a focus on process development, scale up, and process intensification. He holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO and a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Central College, Pella IA.
