With 30 years’ experience in the Biotechnology industry in the UK, working for organisations such as Lonza and Merck Millipore. Simon has a broad background in upstream and downstream processing, Process development and transfer to cGMP manufacturing. Now Chief Technologist at CPI working in downstream processing with a particular passion for process intensification and sustainability. He has been actively involved in a broad range of projects involving the optimisation of purification strategies for mRNA based therapeutics. Active collaboration is a feature of the projects he has been involved with. He has worked with a variety of collaborative partners ranging from SMEs to large Pharma and Biotech companies
