Crystal Maggelet is the CEO and Chairwoman of FJ Management Inc., a diversified family business that includes wholly-owned subsidiaries: Big West Oil, a petroleum refinery and Maverik, an 830+ c-store chain and two fuel transportation divisions, Maverik Logistics and Solar Transport. Other family businesses include TAB Bank, a community bank, VIO Med Spas, and Crystal Inn, a small chain of hotels.   

In addition to her current board role as Chairperson of the FJ Management’s Board, she serves on the Organizing Committee for the Utah 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Great Salt Lake Rising Board, the Zions Bank Advisory Board and Extra Space Storage.  

Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, from Pepperdine University.  She completed her college education with a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and has Honorary Doctorate Degrees in Business from Utah State University, Weber State University, Utah Valley University, and Salt Lake Community college.  In 2018, she was named the national Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Family Business. 

She is actively involved in managing the family’s charitable giving through the Call Foundation and the Call to Action Foundation, which focus primarily on affordable housing, education, and scholarships.  

In her free time, Crystal enjoys traveling, skiing, running, and spending time with her family.
