Appraisal Institute of Canada
Attendance at the 2022 Canadian Apartment Investment Conference is eligible for Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) Continuing Professional Development (CPDs) Credits. Eight (8) CPD credits will be provided for participating in the conference. For more information on how to apply these credits, please go to www.AICanada.ca and log-in with your member credentials.
BCREA (BC Realtors Association)
Canadian Apartment Investment Conference: Self-directed professional development is learning that has not been accredited by boards or BCREA but enhances your professional practice. It allows you to be recognized for learning that meets your individual needs.
To count toward your self-directed PDP hours, a learning opportunity must:
1. Enhance your professional practice
2. Be verifiable and auditable by your board
3. Be a minimum of one hour of learning

BOMI International
Attendance at the 2023 Canadian Apartment Investment Conference is eligible for BOMI Continuing Professional Development (CPDs) Credits. A total of (6) credits will be provided for the event. Please request a certificate of attendance when you register for the event.
Law Society of Ontario
An application has been made for the 2023 program to be eligible toward the Law Society’s CPD Requirement as Substantive Hours. Mortgage Professionals Canada
The 2022 Canadian Apartment Investment Conference has been pre-approved by Mortgage Professionals Canada for eight (8) CE Units in the Professional Development Category for 2022. Please visit this website in the coming days for more details. This activity is self-reporting and can be achieved by logging into your account at www.mortgageproscan.ca and clicking on “My Account”, and then selecting “My Activities”.
Ontario Association of Architects (OAA)
Canadian Apartment Investment Conference: The OAA does not accredit education providers and events. Any event/program that meets the following criteria is eligible and will be accepted under the OAA Continuing Education Program:
Relevant to business or practice of architecture;
1. Address one of the approved subject matter. The OAA ConEd Program recognizes learning activities that are relevant to business of architecture and address at least one of the following subject matter:
- Architectural Design
- Building Code (Ontario Building Code and National Building Code)
- Environment and Energy
- Heritage Buildings Restoration
- Legal Issues and Legislation related to Architectural Practice and the Construction Industry
- Practice Management
- Project Management
- Risk Management
- Sustainable Design / Green Architecture
2. Minimum one hour long. One hour of classroom time equates to one Continuing Education learning hour.
OAA members self-report continuing education activities on the OAA Transcript. Education providers are not given access to the OAA Transcript i.e. cannot report activities on OAA members’ behalf.
Events/programs that are supported by a certificate of completion or a letter of attendance qualify for structured learning hours. A proof of attendance confirming participation must include the following:
- Participant name
- Provider’s name, logo, and contact info
- Program’s name, length, and date of completion
Events/programs that are not supported by a proof of attendance qualify for unstructured learning.
Ontario Professional Planners Institute
Canadian Apartment Investment Conference: OPPI members undertaking Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) may claim learning units according to the Institute’s CPL Program Guide. Please note that OPPI neither pre-approves CPL events, nor assigns Learning Units to them; the Institute trusts its members to use their reasonable professional judgment in claiming credit, in accordance with the CPL Program Guide.
Key information to know about your CPD credits
Attendance certificate
Requests for attendance certificates can be requested during the event registration process.
A per event, one-off non-refundable admin fee of $55 plus tax will be applied. More than one certificate per event can be requested.
The admin fee is waived for REF Club Members, speakers and those attendees using sponsor allocated registrations.
Any inquiries regarding credits must be received by the organizers within three months following the date of the event. After this date, the CPD certificate process will be deemed closed and the organizers are not obligated to enter into dialogue for requests, edits to attendance certificates nor submissions to associations.
CPD policies
Where requested by an association, attendance audits will be provided.
The organizers will not enter into communications between an association and attendee in regards to disputes on qualifying attendance for credits, other than to provide attendance analytics.
Those not present for the entire event annul their right to an attendance certificate.
Admin fees are non-refundable.
