Ali Hoss is the Head of Sustainability & ESG, Canada at Colliers, where he leads the enterprise-wide strategy, operational transformation, and sustainable investment planning for a commercial real estate portfolio spanning 100 million square feet across Canada. Recognized with the 2024 Globe and Mail Best Executive Award in Sustainability and the 2020 Canada Energy Innovator Award from the Association of Energy Engineers, Ali collaborates closely with some of Canada’s largest pension plans to develop and implement strategies that align financial objectives with sustainability priorities, driving value creation, asset resilience, and risk mitigation.

Ali is a licensed professional engineer and holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a certified energy manager, a published author of book chapters and peer-reviewed scientific papers, an accomplished public speaker, and a university guest lecturer in energy and sustainability.
