Fernando Valenzuela has over twenty years of experience working on residential and mixed-use projects across Canada and Mexico. As Vice President of Development at Choice Properties, he oversees the execution of urban projects that combine rental housing, retail, and community spaces within one of Canada’s largest real estate portfolios.

Before joining Choice Properties, Fernando had senior roles at Shiplake and Collecdev, where he managed the full development process for purpose-built rental and mixed-use communities in the Greater Toronto Area. Earlier in his career, he worked with international firms such as Hines, Lendlease, and Acciona, handling large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial projects in different markets.

At Choice Properties, Fernando focuses on long-term asset value and operational quality. He approaches development with a strategic mindset, emphasizing constructability, operationality, market alignment, and cross-functional collaboration in every project.
