Alla Polozova received her Ph.D. degree in Biophysics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and performed postdoctoral studies in membrane biochemistry, polymer chemistry and lipid metabolism fields at McMaster University (Canada) and National institutes of Health (USA).

Alla is currently a Director, Process Development, at Amgen, Inc., where she is leading a team within Pivotal Attribute Science responsible for analytical development and commercialization of late stage biotherapeutics. Prior to Amgen Alla worked in AstraZeneca / Medimmune and Elan / Liposome company. Throughout her career Alla contributed to development, successful approvals and commercial support of biosimilars, innovative monoclonal antibody therapeutics and vaccines. Alla has a broad expertise in analytical development, contributed to advancement of various analytical techniques ranging from LC-MS to higher order structure methods. Alla current serves as a chair for Biologics CMC Leadership Gorup in IQ Consortium. In the past she served on USP Particular Matter Expert Panel.
