Dr. Craig Tipple, DNDi's Medical Director since May 2021, leads the Integrated Clinical Development Sciences team (Drug Safety, CQA and Translational Science) and chairs the Drug Safety and Protocol Review committees. He is a member of several leadership teams and has a keen interest in patient engagement, data-sharing, and gender-responsive R&D. A qualified medical specialist with diplomas in HIV and Genitourinary Medicine, Craig has over a decade of experience caring for people living with HIV and conducted doctoral research on syphilis at Imperial College London. He has extensive drug development experience from GlaxoSmithKline, where he worked on antibiotics and treatments for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV, and led clinical development for a COVID-19 anti-viral monoclonal antibody.
